NORTHDALE/ CARROLLWOOD

Barbershop located near Chilis off N. Dale Mabry HWY and S Village DR

WHY HEADLINES BARBER SHOP LOVES CARROLLWOOD

The perfect community for a family barbershop

Nestled in the heart of Tampa, we at Headlines Barbers Tampa Bay pride ourselves in having a fantastic team that offers incredible treatments and unbeatable customer service at rates we can stand behind. We’ve been a mainstay for those who value top-notch services at affordable prices since 2000.

What started off as a small Barber Shop has grown significantly in both size and reputation. Carrollwood is our second location for good reason, but first let us tell you more about Carrollwood.

Carrollwood is one of Tampa's most iconic suburbs. It was named after Charles Carroll, a wealthy Maryland landowner and a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and is only 8 miles north of downtown Tampa.

The Sulphur Springs neighborhood continued to develop, Forest Hills was built, and the city of Tampa expanded its city limits up to and through Lake Carroll.

A new subdivision was built along the Dale Mabry Highway, west of Lake Carroll, that was marketed as both an opportunity for investment and a place to live.

Jetton's company built 800 houses on the west side of Lake Carroll, along with an office, shopping center, recreation center and community beach. The community won awards including the Best Homes for Families award from Parents magazine.

Other developers soon created subdivisions along Jetton Lake, even though it was difficult to get away to the beach from the suburbs.

As the city grew and land became less available, the city's bathing beaches were given way to development, and the city's downtown areas became more close to the suburbs.

Original Carrollwood is a charming neighborhood in Tampa's east side that maintains a quiet charm and relaxing feel in spite of the growth surrounding it.
